Food selection wasn't great, late night selection menu. Pizza and nachos, typical late night food, unoriginal for the atmosphere and look of the bar.

Dirty martini was good, blue cheese olives not so much. I do expect good olives for that drink. And put those in a bloody Mary maybe.

Waiter was great and checked back often.

We visited Seven Monks Taproom on New Year’s Eve, and it absolutely lived up to its reputation as one of the best places to watch a football game! The atmosphere was lively, and there was a great selection of craft beers that everyone at our table enjoyed.

Booked an hour long tour to learn some history relating to the asylum. Our guide, in this case, was Clover, and she was rather informative and helpful overall. She was well versed in the topics she discussed as part of the tour and was able to answer questions. While she didn't have to, she stayed behind to show me one last part of the tour we couldn't get to because our group went over time. She didn't have to do that, but she did, and to me, that shows she's dedicated to her community as well as interested in sharing the history of the asylum. She was also very mindful of the group. A lot of the people in our group were elderly/handicapped, and so she made sure everyone was as safe and comfortable as they could be. I'd say the tunnel was my favorite. It was rather cold, which I loved. I also booked a night tour with Natalie and Tony. Both of which were knowledgeable and considerate. The locations and history we were able to explore were rather nice. I'd say my favorite part was the graffiti in the basement of one of the men's ward buildings. Some glow in the dark. Tony has a very down to earth kind of energy, whereas Natalie is energetic and quirky. The Village was a fascinating and enjoyable location to visit in Traverse City. Interesting enough, the building was used as a state of the art mental facility where patients were treated with kindness and respect. The building is now used to house small shops and food stalls. Stopped here with my adult daughter for dinner. I had a beer flight to taste five different brews, which was a nice introduction to their beers. On a Saturday night we only had to wait 10 min for a table with no reservation. Front of house was very polite, however I’d suggest a booth rather than a table if given the choice. We did end up on a wobbly table in the rear of the restaurant, but it was our first visit, so that was on me for not picking the former. Our waitress was very kind and got our drinks and mozzarella sticks out quickly, which were totally delicious. For mains we ordered the pizza, protein bowl, fish and chips, and 12 oz steak. Everything was great, I’d say the pizza and protein bowls were the fan favorites. Per the fish ‘n chips, the fish still had the skin on under the batter - not bad, but not my preferred style. On the steak side, I asked for medium and received medium well. The mashed potatoes held some funky flavoring to them like deep garlic, an aged cheese, or truffle mixed in that I didn’t care for. A classic mash would be a huge upgrade for the dish. Still, the asparagus was fresh and I enjoyed the meal, ate all but a few bites of steak - very filling. Overall a nice outing for friends, families, or dates. I haven’t been to Firefly for quite a while and I’ll be sure to not go so long between visits! We had the bruschetta for an appetizer & it was delicious. Honestly we loved this place. We liked all of our food but we really like the street corn dip, T-bone steak(special), shrimp tempura roll, and the wedge salad. The corn dip we would say is a must try. It came with a healthy amount of chips and dip and was great for the whole table. Came here for Sushi because they advertise sushi pretty heavily, but they only had 6 sushi options on the menu. Ordered three rolls (crunchy shrimp, soy chino, and spicy tuna), some calamari, and their special of the day which was Ramen. None of their rolls had avocado. The soy chino was flavorless aside from the dollop of sauce on top, and the calamari was drenched in the sweet chili sauce. Every other place I've been to has the sauce on the side so you can choose how much sauce to dip the calamari in.

The ramen pork and egg were cooked very well, but the meat was way too fatty, and the broth tasted like beef broth from a can not like ramen broth.

The atmosphere was industrial with a story mingled through out about how the tables were crafted and where the wood came from. Story about the owners and why they brew the beer the way they do and have an amazing menu.

The only thing I would change would be throwing in a 1 bay dedicated GF fryer so we could enjoy the fries without concern. We stumbled upon a hidden gem in downtown Traverse City an great spot with a cozy, welcoming vibe. We chose seats at the bar and were immediately impressed by the excellent service that was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable.

We decided to share everything, starting with the Caesar salad topped with smoked trout. It was outstanding. fresh, perfectly balanced, and topped with crushed potato chips that gave each bite a salty, crunchy surprise. Combined with the smoky richness of the trout, it was unforgettable. Easily one of the best Caesar salads I’ve ever had.

Next, we split a BBQ chicken pizza, which came out hot, crisp, and absolutely delicious. The flavors worked perfectly together and left us planning our next visit before we even finished.

Next time I’m back in Traverse City, this will be my only dining stop. Great company! The staff was awesome! Very friendly and knowledgeable. The captain was very entertaining and shared a lot of history about Grand Traverse Bay and the surrounding area. The crew did a great job of making sure the passengers were comfortable and well tended to. the bartender was a lot of fun to chat with and did an exceptional job serving the guests.

My sister had a bachelorette party this past weekend and we had a BLAST on the Pub Cycle. Our driver, Dee, was absolutely phenomenal. Bobby was amazing. Very patient with a group of 10 women that definitely were not athletes and majority of us past our prime! We had the best time singing and sipping our way around TC. Definitely would do a pedal bar again with them! I definitely DO NOT recommend adding Mammoth to your bar stops ( the bar tender there was extremely rude, and come to find out he is known for it. So why he is still working there is a big question. They definitely missed out on plenty of business) but we loved our stop at the roof top bar at H&L as well at the coin slot. The Ability for spectators to watch comfortably at a table or couch in each bay is a feature that is not found in many other Golf Sim Locations. The Golf Simulation Setup is very professional and enjoyable. The simulation by default gives you the preferred amount of information to help improve your golf game with the ability to give more data/details if desired. Lessons at X Golf are Incredibly helpful. The coaches/staff is very knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and communicate easily even with all range of Golfers. The benefit of having Lessons at X Golf with a simulation over a standard driving range, is the ability to easily see the extra data on your swing. This includes impact location of the ball, speed, distance, spin etc. This allows for even more productive golf lessons. After just a single 1 hour golf lesson session i was able to see VERY noticeable improvements in the following areas: straighter drives, ball lofting, Aiming, Chipping, and putting.
